Yoke
This type of yoke is not an oxen yoke, but rather a water-carrying yoke. We make our yokes especially strong and comfortable, hand-hollowing them from sturdy selected lightwoods. We design our yokes with extra reinforcement in the neck and shoulders (traditionally the weakest spots on the yoke), and balance them properly for better control. We recommend using two Primitive Camp Buckets when using this yoke, but other buckets will work as well.
Adult size approx. 8" x 41"; Child size approx. 8" x 30". Both sizes are available in 1½" and 2-3" thicknesses (2-3" yoke is stronger and is a working yoke. It is custom made to fit your shoulders.) Metal hooks available.
