The Old Oaken Bucket
This brutally hefty four-gallon bucket is made of solid, ¾" thick oak staves and weighs 17 lbs. It was the "five-gallon bucket" of its day. Its durable construction would make it an excellent quenching pail for blacksmithing or a water-drawing pail for an old-time well. A "man's bucket" if there ever was one! Height: 11", Diameter: 13" top, 11" bottom; with 2" wide banding.
