Hogshead
The tobacco hogshead had a standard measurement of 48 inches tall and 30 inches in diameter at the head. It was used in American during colonial times to store and to transport tobacco. When the hogshead was full of tobacco it weighed about 1000 pounds. It is handcrafted of red oak with hickory saplings. Not in stock. 3-4 months required for constructing, drying and shipping.
