Colonial Butter Churn

The Americans of the Colonial Era used sapling-banded butter churns due to the high cost of steel, hence its name.  This fully-functional churn would make a perfect addition to a butter making demonstration or a pleasant ornamental item by the hearth or  rustic kitchen.  The churn comes complete with a wand-shaped plunger and a two-tier lid specially designed to better retain the churn's contents.   Height of churn: 18"; overall height (with plunger): 36"; Diameter: 9" bottom, 8" top.  Capacity approx. 2.5 gallons.
