Butter Paddles
After cream had been thoroughly churned in a butter churn, the buttermilk at the top would be poured off, and the butter would be poured into a large bowl and pressed with a butter paddle to separate the remaining buttermilk out of the butter. Our butter paddles are hand-carved from maple and are finished with a food-grade oil. Their handles are hand-drilled for easy hanging. And even if you don't make your own butter, these paddles will make a lovely addition to most any kitchen décor.
