Flour Barrel or German Kraut Keg
This thirteen-gallon container is a replica of a flour barrel displayed at the Moravian village in Old Salem, NC. It was used for bulk dry storage but was also strong enough to be used for pickling in Germany, from which it gets its title of "Kraut Keg". The lid's two-tier design stays securely in place and keeps out foreign particles. Height: 25" (minus lid); Diameter: top 14", bottom 16".
